With the ability to get in front of your ideal customer at your fingertips (meta ads) — it has never been easier to drastically increase the amount of sales you make and clients you sign up.

Yes despite this superpower — most small businesses get it completely wrong and leave thousands in profit on the table.

Today I’m going to cover the basics of how to get it right and the single biggest mistake that ruins most ad campaigns small businesses run and how to avoid it, so you can worry less about whether your ad is going to work, and worry more about how you’re going to find the time to work with your increased clientele…

How it Works

Here’s my skeleton for how to nail this yourself:

Headline: Connect it to the big thing your audience wants

(e.g. For someone who wants to know how to swim: Learn How To Swim In Just 5 Days - No Experience Needed)

Body section: Build on from the headline promising something else your audience wants to get out of your product. Provide some trust behind these claims like testimonials, or if you have any accolades flash them.

(By the end of this course you will be so confident in the water, you’ll never worry about the deep end again. Taught by an Olympic long-distance swimmer)

Close: Tell them to purchase the item or go to the page to purchase

(Are you ready to transform your ability to swim? Click the link below and sign up for the course. £300)

Like I said, simple, short and to the point. — Following this formula will get you results, (if you want, create a draft and send it to me at josh@reddragonmarketing.co.uk and I will give it an audit for free.

Now for the biggest error people make in running these kinds of ads.

This is what a lot of people get wrong and why their ads don’t work (amoungst other things)

The Price Weakness

The problem is these people you’re selling to have never seen or heard of your company before

You’re interrupting their favourite time of the day, their “me time” where they can scroll on social media to their heart's content.

So if you show up trying to get them to buy a product costing over £300 (unless they are actively looking for it already and are aware it costs more)

They’re going to be interested, but there’s no way they’re forking over a fat 3 hundo from their sofa just like that.

The problem is there’s no trust.

So if your product costs over £300, what do you do?

Well there’s another form of lead generation, that focuses on eliminating this no trust threshold, allows you to sell to more people, and charge more for your service.

Sound too good to be true?

Check out my article in a few days, and you can see for yourself how it works.

To summarise

One step is perfect if your product is cheaper than £300 — hit the fundamentals I’ve mentioned and you’ll have a better start than most of your competitors.

But if you sell something more expensive than £300, then click the link above and learn this criminally underutilised method.

Have a profound day

Josh
